Buck Creek Trout Farm is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Marion, NC. Two pristine creeks surrounded by U.S. Forest Service Land come together to form an ideal home for both native and farm-raised trout. It is a small, family-owned business whose top priority is customer service. Buck Creek Trout Farm offers live deliveries for stocking ponds and private streams, fresh apple wood smoked trout, restaurant trout, and a catchout pond that is open to the public April through October. All trout on the farm are egg-hatched and hand-fed to market size. Picnic facilities are available.
For your convenience, Buck Creek Trout Farm is located only 3.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 miles from beautiful Mount Mitchell State Park, and just 6 miles to Mt. Mitchell Golf course. Also within a short driving distance are Crabtree Meadows, Little Switzerland, Linville Falls and Linville Caverns. Buck Creek Trout Farm is the best kept secret in Western North Carolina.
